The Past Few Weeks

It's been a while since I've written and for that I apologize. Life as a missionary has become so much busier lately because of Sister Jones going home. But I was able to send her off safely today, so things look like they'll be calming down over the next few weeks.

However, not fully sure what I've emailed about, so this email will mostly be photos. Expect more full detailed emails in the future. 

A few highlights and things you might need to know from the past few weeks:

1) Transfers are happening tomorrow. I will be staying in Toyohashi for another transfer. As I am now transfer 3 that means I am no longer a bean-chan. Yay! Haha, it was nice having a trainer to help me out but from now on I'll just be a normal missionary. But that should be good, too! My new companions name is Prince 姉妹 and she's transfer 5 and...that's about all I know about her. Expect more details next week. But I'm excited for what the next 6 weeks hold!

2) At one point we had two people with baptismal dates. One was named Larissa. She's Brazilian and had investigated the church prior to us teaching her. We were really excited because she was really down for baptism. Then she cancelled a lesson and we were slightly worried. Then she went to Tokyo for a week for her birthday. Still kinda worried. Then we call her and it turns out she moved to Tokyo for a modelling job? Like...what? Hahaha...so she no longer is an investigator. The other was from the Philippines and was super excited to get baptized, had Mormon family members, all that stuff. But turns out she was already baptized. Haha, so we just brought back a really inactive member, haha

3) We've had a lot of turn around with our investigators lately. It's been sad to see so many stop listening, but I'm excited for the new investigators we do have. We are going to really focus on finding this transfer and hopefully we can find some amazing new investigators as well!

And...lots of other stuff happened, but I'm going to wrap up there for this week. Again, expect better emails next week, haha.
