Spring is Here (3/4)

皆さんこんにちは! お元気ですか? This past week was pretty normal actually. Or at least normal for a missionary living in Ichinomiya, Japan. I don't have any super exciting stories to tell you from this week, but I'll tell you some of the highlights.

I'm not sure if this is a thing in America or not, but here in Japan McDonald's delivers! Haha, like you can legit call and order McDonald's food and they will deliver it to your apartment via a tiny Japanese man on a tiny Japanese scooter. It's my favorite thing and I may or may not have eaten McDonald's twice this past week. So any and all McDonald's gift cards are greatly appreciated ;) #序段

In other news, we went to Kurazushi a few days ago and it was delicious as usual. (It's one of the conveyor belt sushi places). They also had "Tempura Shrimp with Purple Sauce" and Cope Shimai was brave enough to try it, haha. It was just purple mayo, but we found it very entertaining. Gotta love Japan! We also got some hilarious toys from one of the gacha-gacha machines (you put the coin in and turn it and a toy falls out). I'll send pics. They're amazing.

We had DTM (district training meeting) on Friday and it was really good. We talked about obedience and it was exactly what I needed. I've been working on keeping all the rules exactly and it's been...hard, haha. But the beautiful thing about the gospel is that everyday can be a new day through the power of repentance! Yay for the gospel!

Other than that this week really wasn't that interesting. Just lots of silly shenanigans (I'll send pics) and finding people to share the gospel with. We saw lots of cats. Biked lots of miles. And received tomato juice from a random lady we housed (who wanted to give us coffee and when we told her we don't drink coffee immediately went to tomato juice. #blessjapan). Just the normal stuff.

Spring has officially (not really, but I'm being hopeful) come to Ichinomiya! There are flowers blooming and it's getting warmer and more humid by the day! Today it's literally been pouring rain nonstop, but hopefully will clear up soon and we can enjoy the good weather.

That's about it for this week. Sorry, not super interesting, but not every week can be an adventure, haha. Thanks for all the prayers, love, support, letters, and emails! You are all amazing <3

愛しています!
