Biking through Blizzards (2/12)

I don't have a lot of time, but there's really not much to say about the past two weeks anyways, so I'll keep this one short. Here's the main things you missed:

-The weather in Gifu is crazy. Some days it's sunny and warm. Some days there's crazy winds. Or crazy rain. Or crazy snow. I've given up on guessing and just stick my arm out the window everyday to decide what to wear, haha. 

-Most of our investigators (and the members) have influenza, so we're just kind of hoping we don't get it either. But it also means we can't really meet with anyone, haha. We've done a LOT of phone work and finding. Nothing too exciting to report from that though. 

-Fun story: It was one of our investigator's birthdays yesterday, so we biked to his house to sing to him and give him a gift. And the sky decides to release all the snow at the same time, haha. Fast forward to us biking through a blizzard, the members driving out to find out, us eating dinner randomly with them, me singing an old japanese song to him, and then us biking back home through a blizzard. But it was pretty awesome actually, haha. The members (wife and daughter of our investigator) are just so loving and it really helped to bring peace into our crazy day <3

In all honesty I've been having a hard time these past couple weeks, but I'm trying to focus on the little things and trust in God. We all get trials for a reason! And overall the work is still great and the church is still true and the Book of Mormon is the word of God, so nothing else really matters at that point.
